Check out this video of a spinner shark jumping a surfer off the coast of Florida. You can see the surfer get whiplash as his head spins to follow the large mass jumping over him. Jacob Langston, a photographer for the Orlando Sentinel, was out shooting video of a surfer at New Smyrna Beach when he hear another surfer shout "Dude, did you see that!" He did not, but did realize what the surfer was referring to when he later looked at his video. How do we know the finned creature was in fact a spinner? "They are pretty common at the inlet,"says Langston, who was in the water when he recorded the event. "People get photos of them all the time jumping out of the water. The surfers knew immediately what it was."
