Kylie monks of Tasmania really wanted Facebook but did not want to pay for internet. Noticing this could be an issue, she then came up with the ingenious idea that parking meters there use sim cards, maybe she could borrow one of those. At the end of a 3 month period, the parking meter people then get a bill for $193,187.43 (AUD) in data fees. Well you can imagine their surprise when they expect their parking meters to only use bits of data. She was sentenced to 6 months in jail for her crime. To her defence she said she only used it to check facebook a "few times" and download a few movies…suuuure.
